Description: The map above shows the "population density of the world." It is used to show the numbers of people that live in certain spaces. By looking closely we are able to see the dense populations of people who live in Asia and Europe. It uses different colors to indicate the different degrees of density in different areas. Green for the most dense and violet for the least dense. What is interesting, is to see how North America is not as dense in population as Europe or Asia. To think that there are high numbers of people from Asia, Europe, South America and Australia who are immigrating to the United States. The United States does not even come close to the density of people that are in Europe and Asia.

Description: The following map seen above is the subway station map for the famous London Tube. It shows different colors to indicate and separate the different station lines while using white circles as an indicator of single stations or stops. The map Also shows squiggles to show the route of the train and the different movement that it makes. The Light blue line that snakes around the map is to show the river that intersects through much of the tube lines. The light gray lines are used to show the light rail. It shows intersections between the different lines to show the routes the subway is able to go. What is most interesting about this map is it's ability make the subway experience much easier by making the map simple but detailed, giving the normal rider an easier way find their way when lost in the station.

Description: The Disneyland map shown above shows the different attractions they are offering in the park. The map tries it's best not just to show the locations of the attractions but does so in a colorful, entertaining and simple way. By showing the buildings that are in the park, navigating through the park becomes easier for the customer, using the buildings as markers to find their location. Though it may look very colorful it also serves a great purpose, mapping out almost everything a visitor might need in the park, may it be a restroom or another ride to visit. What is most interesting about the map is the use of colors, building and iconic signs. Because of this they are able to show a great marketing map where it shows customers where they can spend even more of their money.
